Kevin Fernandes

Biography

I am a lawyer practicing in the Corporate/Commercial, Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity groups at KMB, where I also lead the firm’s professional client corporate services practice and chair the firm’s student committee. ​My practice involves M&A / private equity transactions, professional corporations, corporate reorganizations and a range of corporate / commercial matters.

Kevin Fernandes is a Partner at KMB Law and a member of the firm’s Corporate and Commercial Law, Mergers and Acquisitions and Private Equity practice groups.

​Kevin’s practice includes purchase and sale (asset and share) transactions, corporate matters, professional client corporate services, private equity transactions and corporate reorganizations. After earning both his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts from Queen’s University, Kevin earned his Juris Doctor with a specialization in Business Law at the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University. Kevin has also completed the Osgoode Certificate in Canadian Securities Law and Practice through Osgoode Hall Law School. ​Outside of the office, Kevin plays and watches hockey, baseball and golf.
