Biography

Stefa Sokolowski is the Business Development and Global Hamilton Officer for the City of Hamilton, where she focuses on attracting global talent and investment. She leads the City’s international student initiatives, working closely with community and institutional partners to support, and retain students in the region. Stefa also oversees the Soft Landing service, which supports international entrepreneurs by helping them navigate the local market and providing hands-on guidance as they establish and grow their businesses in Hamilton. With professional experience spanning the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors, Stefa excels in program management and designing people-centric solutions. She holds a background in Urban Planning and a Master’s degree in Economic Development and Innovation, and is committed to making Hamilton a vibrant, inclusive, and globally connected city.
